This is a fantastic water bottle, it's easy to carry around and it doesn't leak I've had no issues with functionality as you simply press the button and unlock for water to be released. Even better is that our dog will drink from this so I'm generally quite happy with this purchase.

TL:DR - it's the same as others, but not as good. What can I say. It's one of a bunch of almost identically designed pet water bottles that doesn't quite meet the same standard as others. It's not that it's badly designed, it's ok. It's just that other brands of this exact same design (and physical aesthetic) do the same things, but better. The problem area is the dispensing button. Firstly, this particular brand's button doesn't depress very far, meaning the water trickles out slowly. Secondly, the button spring is stiff to the point where it's uncomfortable. Couple that with a slow flow rate and you're having to apply a lot of force for a long period of time. Thirdly, in spite of the stiff spring, the top seal, that allows air to vent into the bottle while in operation, doesn't seal all that well, meaning the bottle leaks if it rolls over (all over you car seat, like it did to me). Compare that against other brands that produce this same design, whose buttons are easier to press, whose spring is easier to hold down, and whose vent seals actually seal. Like I said above - other brands do the same, but they do it better. OK, gripe over. The rest of the features are good. Decent size/volume ratio. Solid material selection - I've dropped mine a few times now and it shows no significant signs of damage. Good trough dimensions - good for most sizes of pet. Screw bottle seal does the job. I'm not convinced with the placement of the lanyard eye, but I don't use the lanyard, so... 🤷🏻‍♂️. That said, the other brands have these exact same features, and don't necessarily have the same flaws.
