Our spaniel has been bothered by itchy paws for a bit, especially after walks. I was looking for something easy to give him. These are presented like regular treats, which is half the battle won. Picked these up after our dog started constantly licking his paws like it was a full-time job. His ears were also looking a bit red, and he just seemed uncomfortable more often than not. Thought I’d give these treats a shot before diving into the world of vet bills and allergy testing. They’ve gone down a treat – quite literally. He thinks they’re snacks, so there’s been zero drama getting them into him each day. I’ve been giving him the recommended dose for just over two weeks, and the change has been noticeable. The constant licking and scratching has calmed right down, and he’s not shaking his head every five minutes like before. His coat’s looking healthier too – bit shinier and less flaky around the usual hot spots. I also like that they support immune health, so it feels like we’re helping with the root cause, not just masking the symptoms. Pros: Actually reduced scratching and licking Dog loves the taste – no hiding required Supports skin, ears, eyes and immune system all in one Decent size tub – should last a while Cons: Takes a week or two to kick in properly Strong smell (which he loves, but not so great for my hands!) Very effective dog treats at helping to reduce dog itching. I have a large lab who is moulting at the moment and is bothered with itching and these treats added to his diet have definitely helped reduce his constant itching. They smell delicious and very palatable. Overall really great value for money.

I decided to try these because my dog has been scratching a lot recently and I wanted to find something that might calm his skin without having to go straight to medication. The treats looked like a simple way to help while also being easy to give as part of his daily routine. The good thing is that my dog eats them without any fuss. They smell a bit strong to me but clearly not to him as he takes them like any other treat. After using them for a while I did notice a small improvement, especially with the constant licking of his paws which seems to have eased off. His coat also looks a bit shinier which is a nice bonus. That said, it hasn’t completely stopped all scratching. He still has the occasional flare up, especially after being outside in the grass. I see this more as something that supports his general health rather than a miracle fix for every skin problem. The tub contains plenty of treats so it lasts a decent amount of time, which makes it better value compared to some other supplements I’ve tried. The only drawback is that the treats are a little crumbly, so if you’re carrying a few in your pocket they don’t stay intact. Overall though they’re easy to give, the dog enjoys them and they have made a noticeable difference, even if not a complete solution.

These dog treats come in a neat sealed plastic container. The packet contains 90 pills dressed up as bone shaped treats which equates to around 33 pence per item, albeit you can give up to 4 per day, dependent on the size of your dog. Whilst they come as a chew treat, they apparently taste of a chicken flavour to disguise the natural ingredients and supplements being passed to your dog. These antioxidants and vitamins help improve your pet’s skin, especially with itchy like conditions. Having tried them on a pet which was constantly scratching himself over this, I certainly noticed some visible results after a couple of days, so I would be inclined to say they perform as expected. They help generally with stomach conditions too given the probiotics for the gut and digestion within, so they represent a well-priced solution here.
